Moray Gilland is Head of Unit for Macro-regions, Transnational, Interregional and External Cooperation, and Enlargement in the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy at the European Commission. He has worked in the Commission for more than 25 years, including the last 11 as a Head of Unit. In his previous post, he led the Commission's work on the preparation and negotiation of the 2021-2027 EU cohesion policy regulations. He has a MA in French & International Relations from the University of Aberdeen in 1993.
