About
Environmental Manager by profession and Master in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Spain. She has a virtual diploma in Integration of Climate Change Adaptation in Development Planning from the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Centre (CATIE); and a Specialist in Leadership in Climate Change and Cities (FLACSO Ecuador).
Her professional experience is framed in academic research work in rural development and work with communities. She has worked in the private sector as an environmental consultant for the development of the biophysical component for the updating of the land use plans of two rural local governments in the province of Loja. She has facilitated workshops for the construction of Citizen Agendas for Sustainable Urban Development in the city of Loja and the National Determined Contribution Working Group (NDC) in the framework of the project "Participatory assessment of barriers, needs, opportunities and support received for the management of climate change, required for the Fourth National Communication of Ecuador".
She has collaborated in research work on energy efficiency with GRUPO FARO. She is currently part of the Technical Commission for project evaluation of the Latin America Green Awards Organisation and she works as an Environmental Management Analyst for the Special Regime Council for Galapagos.
