About
Bryan has more than 15 years of management and experience in peacebuilding and conflict transformation, education, and international development. Bryan currently serves as the West Africa Regional Program Manager covering Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, and Niger, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects related to peacebuilding, farmer/herder conflict, security, youth engagement, the intersection of climate and conflict, and the Humantiarian, Development, Peace Nexus. Previously, he was Head of Office in Maiduguri for 2.5 years, building Search's programming in North East Nigeria, addressing social cohesion and peacebuilding in a fragile humanitarian and conflict context. Bryan has been with Search for Common Ground since 2014, covering program support in East Africa, business development, and managing a variety of projects in Guinea and Liberia. Before joining Search, Bryan worked in the education sector, serving as a school administrator in urban Los Angeles and as an education Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay. He speaks English, French, and Spanish and holds an MA in International Development Policy and Conflict Resolution from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA in Cinema Television Critical Studies from the University of Southern California.
