Laurent Babikian is Director Capital Markets at CDP Europe, having started his career in 1991 working with Bank Indosuez for 10 years, in the financial markets. In 2000, Laurent co-founded a start-up incubator and coached entrepreneurs to accelerate their business before creating Corcovado, his own consultancy company, for which he moved to Brazil in 2007. While in Brazil, he became one of the mentors of Endeavor, an international not-for-profit organisation aimed at developing sustainable entrepreneurship in emerging countries. Laurent is a member of the advisory board of the Euronext-managed Low Carbon 100 index and the French sustainability benchmark Greenfin - supported by the French Ministry of Environment. Laurent graduated from IESE Business School in Barcelona, holding an executive MBA in general management. He also holds a master’s in finance from the University of Paris Dauphine.
