Johannes works on the development of low-greenhouse gas development pathways in the agriculture, forestry and other land use (AFOLU) sector within the Deep Decarbonisation Pathways initiative at IDDRI. His work aims at informing policymakers in a variety of countries on how deep decarbonisation in the AFOLU sector can be achieved, the levers that can drive this process and the indicators to follow. The work also explores the global enabling conditions of ambitious AFOLU pathways in a series of countries.
