About
Bonnie Brook is a mechanical engineer with international experience in design and optimization of building services, assets and energy management and strategy development. She is currently Vice President Industry Affairs at Siemens Smart Infrastructure International Headquarters. Some of her previous roles include systems engineer, consulting engineer and portfolio manager digital services.
She is an engaged industry advocate for innovation in buildings to increase comfort and productivity, to reduce impact on the environment and improve property value. She is actively involved in several associations and industry networks including Vice-Chair European Alliance to Save Energy (EU-ASE), Board Member European Building Automation Controls Association (eu.bac), Board Member Smart Energy Europe (smarten), Advisory Board German Green Building Association, GlobalABC, ASHRAE and the Swiss Association of Women Engineers (SVIN).
Bonnie Brook is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia, LEED AP, Chair of CEN/TC 247 Building Automation, Controls and Building Management, Liaison ISO/TC 205 Building environment design and 2015 Finalist European Women in Construction & Engineering Awards.
