Craig Douglas is a Founding Partner at World Fund, one of Europe's largest climate venture funds. He has been investing in climate tech companies over the past 12 years at World Fund and SET Ventures, one of Europe's longest-running energy transition funds, where he specialised in decarbonisation of energy generation, transmission, distribution and storage as well as, the built environment and transportation. Craig has pioneered ESG and Impact in the venture community creating a leading ESG framework in 2012, as well as co-designing a model which links impact to fund performance and compensation, which is now used by over 50 funds. He also advised the European commission on energy policy and financing innovation. Craig's background in Physics and Chemistry and his work in venture as well as advising government and institutions on cost effective decarbonisation puts him in the perfect place to assess and help deep tech companies in the climate space.
