About
Jordan is currently Executive Director of Regions4, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Regions4 Secretariat. Jordan previously served as Programme Coordinator for the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy in the Americas (GCoM Americas), coordinating GCoM operations in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and Latin America. He has worked as a researcher and professor of the Institute of Urban and Territorial Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica as well as the Center for Sustainable Urban Development (CEDEUS) in Chile, as an expert on a range of issues related to climate change, sustainability and sub-national governments. In 2013, Jordan participated in the founding of the NGO Adapt Chile, and as National Director led programs related to capacity building, science-policy dialogue, governance and public policy, and coordination of the Chilean Network of Municipalities for Climate Action. From 2019-2021, he worked as Subnational Governments for Climate Action Coordinator for the Chilean COP25 Presidency,
