David is a Civil Engineer with a burning interest for sustainability in construction. He has worked in leading roles at Skanska for many years and in many different projects. Among those are Skelleftea Site East and Hammarangen Skelleftea South, which are two of the most sustainable civil projects in Sweden. The Award-winining Skelleftea Site East was a 450 000m2 new industrial site where during construction the company saved 75% GHG-emissions and also worked with several innovations in electrification and biochar. The project was finished in 2022. Hammarangen Skelleftea South is the most recent project showcasing advances in sustainability and innovation. One of the outcomes of the work in innovation in collaboration is the building of Sweden's first Droneport.
