Alexandrina Boyanova is a professional banker with over 25 years of experience, working with governments, corporates, and financial institutions in Europe, as well as internationally. Alexandrina joined the European Investment Bank in 2006 and is currently heading the Climate Office in EIB's Operations (Front Office) Directorate. Having previously covered the energy and banking sectors in Central and South-East Europe, Alexandrina's current areas of responsibilities include the design and operationalisation of EIB's climate-related policies (including the Climate Bank Roadmap), as well as more generally - international sustainable finance, EU Taxonomy, climate risk and new green product development. Ms. Boyanova is Bulgarian and speaks 5 languages.
