Mayor Noorliza, a University of Buckingham Bachelor of Laws graduate, has dedicated her career to Kota Kinabalu City Hall since 1996. She excelled as the head of Corporate Affairs and Property Management, later becoming Deputy Director General (Operation). In 2021, she assumed the role of Kota Kinabalu City Mayor, skillfully navigating the city through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her visionary leadership introduced the network, emphasizing community-driven programs, fostering social inclusion, resilience, sustainability, and liveability. Under her guidance, the City Hall remains steadfast in its commitment to humanizing the city through the implementation of the city's resilient pack tool, ensuring the health and prosperity of its citizens.
