José Antonio Vicente is the the Director General of Aragón Exterior, the Government of Aragon's entity dedicated to promoting the internationalization of the Aragonese economy, since the November 2023. Previously, he developed his career in the field of trade fair promotion and events in various countries. He served as the Director of Feria de Zaragoza from 2002 to 2015 and held the position of President for the trade fair associations AFA (Aragon) and AFE (Spain). Additionally, he served as the CEO of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) in Qatar from 2015 to 2020. Following this, he worked as a consultant in the MICE sector from 2020 to 2021 and served as the Managing Director - CEO at Shanghai Greenland Exhibitions in China from 2021 to 2023. During his tenure in the Arab country, he also held the position of President of the Spanish Business Council in Qatar, an entity representing the interests of Spanish companies with a presence in the region.
