Katleen earned degrees in Law & Philosophy and specialised in European Law at the College of Europe. She joined DG RTD in the European Commission in 1996 and later moved to DG CONNECT. In April 2021, she was seconded by DG CONNECT to the European Health and Digital Executive Agency, as Head of Department responsible for Digital, Industry and Space.
