Exploring New Climate Finance Instruments: How to Finance the Green and Just Transition
The Climate Finance for Green Just Transition side-event will bring together politicians, financiers, and practitioners to present three different point of views and experience of climate finance and equitable transitions. The EU, its Member States and the European Investment Bank are together the biggest contributor of public climate finance, providing €23.04 billion in 2021. This event shall explore tools to accelerate the flow of climate finance towards green and inclusive initiatives with a particular focus on the EU’s neighbouring countries.
