Food Systems part of the climate solution: AgroEcology at scale
Food Systems are important GHG emitters and are strongly impacted by climate change. Thye have to become part of the solution. To achieve climate objectives, but also food security, environmental sustainability and decent livelihoods, food systems need to undergo a profound transformation. In view of these multiple challenges, AgroEcology represents a powerful avenue for driving food systems towards sustainability. The event will present key elements of agroecology in relation to climate change, both on adaptation and on mitigation, and will present successful experiences of food system transformation based on agroecology.
