Valeria is a project officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. Her research work includes the environmental sustainability of food consumption and production, life cycle assessment, land footprint modelling, and food waste quantification and prevention. She has a PhD from the University of Birmingham on the environmental sustainability of the school catering sector.
