Chris is a Professor of Innovation Management at Mälardalens University in Sweden. He is presently leading and collaborating on projects funded by Horizon Europe, FORTE (Sweden), the ERDF and Interreg. His research focus is on technology change with a particular interest in digital technology, industry, related societal change and work. He holds a PhD from Manchester University on Innovation in the UK Construction industry and has subsequently written about strategy in higher education, technology change in the construction industry, technology and work, the role of the client in innovation and project management for leading journals including the Government Information Quarterly, New Technology Work and Employment, British Journal of Management, Planning Theory, Long Range Planning, R&D Management and Construction Management and Economics. Chris was an ESRC Advanced Institute of Management (AIM) Scholar.
