Dr Georgios Tsionis is a scientific officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) with expertise in resilience of the built environment, standardisation, and networking of research infrastructures at European and international level. He currently leads a project that defines science-informed pathways for the achievement of multiple objectives for future-proof buildings: resilience to risks, climate adaptation, digital transformation, sustainability and circularity.
